Welcome to the Shadhiliyya Sufi Center

“The name of this land is “The Land of Peace and Love.” Why this name? This name is for the beloveds who come to live here, to hold peace and love. This means the one who carries the real love and peace. Allah shows me that everyone who comes here comes because he is very thirsty for peace and love. Not only for himself, but he wants to carry the peace and love for all the people everywhere in this world. These, my beloved children, are the seeds of this tree.” Sidi al Jamal The Religion of Unity, p.295

Our retreat facilities are free from worldly distractions, resting on 118 acres of open land with inspiring views full of natural beauty and majesty. Wildlife abounds, birds sing praises and our community calls the prayers for Allah. The Center is surrounded by springs, trees, meadows and mountains that exude an uplifting spiritual presence.

This creates a unique environment for prayer, retreat into zawiyyah through remembrance, studying Qur’an, contemplating Sidi’s writings and sufi practices. This unique facility hosts healing intensives, personal retreats and other programs for those attracted to the teachings of sufism and Sidi Muhammad al Jamal.
